Aquidneck Custom Composites Inc., or ACC as we like to be called was started in 2001 in a garage in Middletown, RI. Hence the name even though our shop is in Bristol, RI. ACC was started by myself Bill Koffler, and my partner Scott O’Connell. Between us we had an already impressive resume of hi-tech boat building and a combined 20 years of experience in the field. We are also both graduates of the Landing School of Boat building and Design in Kennebunkport, Me. In our 14 year history we have done over 16 million in business.

ACC began as a traveling hi-tech composite boat repair shop. Our first shop being a 24’ car trailer that we made into a fully functional composite shop. Our traveling shop was an immediate success but we quickly signed a contract to build two 36 foot powerboats which we built in the customers shop in Dennis, MA.
In 2003 we built our shop in Bristol, RI. A year later we doubled our shop to accommodate our first multi-hull build. Since 2001 we have built 11 custom boats ranging from 10’ to three world class 57’ x 28’ Chris White Atlantic 57 sailing cats. Building materials for our projects have been as beautiful as cold molded wood to hi-tech pre-preg carbon and nomex construction.

As well as new yacht construction we have built many custom fabrications including simple brackets, custom exhaust, furniture, plumbing fixtures, composite back boards, ladders, passarelles, hard dodgers, scientific exploration fixtures, commercial pilothouses, composite radar domes, rudders, daggers, center boards and more.
Our shop features 11,000 sq ft of space, radiant heat floors, dust scrubbing air cleaners, a 3 axis CNC machine, and computer controlled oven, and all the stationary and hand tools necessary to build world class boats and fabrications. And most importantly a talented and diverse gang of motivated builders.
